Well - I feel like I should share the fruits of my labor with you all. Every runner needs good music to keep them motivated. Truth be told, I don't run with music. I like to run without distraction - but I do play music for all of my other workouts. I need something to get me through those ridiculous Insanity sessions!
Here are a few tracks that you might consider incorporating into your playlist - some new, some old. Don't worry - these aren't the real deep cuts. We'll save those for another day. I do apologize ahead of time for profanity and general icky sentiments. As they say, "I just like the beat."

1. Classixx - I'll Get You (Do You Like Bass?)
5. Rihanna - Phresh Off the Runway
I have rights to none of these - just sharing the love. Please download (legally) anything you like! :) CYA.
That Rihanna song always works for me! Otherwise I've been listening to the same Girl Talk mix for like that last two years. I guess I should dl some new stuff!
ReplyDeleteFly by Nikki Minaj and Rhianna!

I came to win, to survive, to prosper, to rise
To fly
To fly"
It always puts a clear picture of crossing the finish line in my mind :)
Definitely! I've got it on the playlist for sure.
DeleteI could see how all of those songs would get you moving. I actually stopped listening to music on runs once I got into trail running. I actually do feel music helps me go faster, but there is something to be said for being completely along with your thoughts on a long run.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I get lost in my mind when I'm running - total therapy and I would hate to ruin that with noise. But like I said, some of those cross training sessions need a little background music to keep me jacked. I am curious about how racing with music would affect my performance.
