Inspirational Stationery, PaperMichelle and a Giveaway!

Today is the day when Lace & Race meets PaperMichelle (my stationery blog! Yep - I make off-beat greeting cards.) A lot of the interactions I have through Lace & Race involve ambitious athletes - high achievers with lofty personal and professional goals. That is not unlike the friends I have made through PaperMichelle.

One thing both groups need: motivation and inspiration! I'm adding a couple new designs to the shop, but I thought I could do a fun little giveaway first. To win two of each design below (because you never know when you need to inspire someone else or simply say Hello!) just enter through the Rafflecopter giveaway at the bottom.

Congratulations to the giveaway winner! Yay!

  1. When I am having a hard time in a race, I like to say "You got this." It is simple, but it is always in my mind! Cute shop, Michelle.

  2. I never run with music, but often have a song in my head as I run. They just show up; there's rarely any conscious choice. Finished my tempo run this morning, unexpectedly, to "Ode To Joy"!

    1. Haha - its funny how songs get stuck in our heads on runs or anytime. I usually have some awful rap song with foul lyrics playing over and over and over. Last time it was "Baby Got Back." :)

  3. In a really long race, I depend on this "Patience guards us against losing our presence of mind so we can remain undisturbed, even when the situation is really difficult."

  4. Ahh I love Paper Michelle! I LOVE the line "Miles to go, before I sleep" from the poem, "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost!

  5. Well just saying BREATHE is helpful -hence my blog name because I get really anxious and caught up in things quickly. "It always seems impossible until it's done" by Nelson Mandela is a really wonderful mantra as well.
